Little Rock, Arkansas— Monday, November 26, 2018 — Veterans Walk in Solidarity announced that Veterans Walk in Solidarity will come to Waldron, Arkansas, December 1, 2018, 1 pm – 7 pm for a massive Walk in Solidarity and support for fellow veteran Fred Potter,
Fred Potter is a 88 year old Korean War Veteran who served in the Army and Marines. He has recently been seen on various TV outlets, Newspaper, YouTude, Facebook, Twitter, and other news media platforms.
1 pm: Veterans Walk in Solidarity – Star of Love & Hope, Saturday, December 1, 2018, Waldron High School Auditorium, 1560 W 6th St, Waldron, AR 72958. A program of special guest speakers and awards from Governor Asa Hutchinson and Secretary of State Mark Martin. Special surprise guest entertainment and the honoring of Fred Potter, 88 year old Korean War Army and Marine Veteran as seen on TV and JusticeForFredPotter.com
2 pm: Solidarity Walk will begin at 2 pm from the Waldron High School and finish in downtown Waldron. Many will walk in Solidarity proudly waving their United States Flag and many will show support from the sidelines.
6 pm: Christmas Parade. Veterans Walk in Solidarity will participate in the City of Waldron Christmas parade, “Kindling the Love of Christmas”. We encourage veterans and supporters to come out to the Waldron fairgrounds by
5:30 pm and join veterans from around the country and proundly participate in the Christmas parade as a show of solidarity and remembering all that are deployed during the holiday season. Star of Love & Hope is the Veterans Walk in Solidarity Christmas theme. The star represents all veteran’s love of country and the hope of a tomorrow.
Veterans and friends from across the United Statesr will Walk in Solidarity to support the proposed The Fred Potter Senior Citizen Financial Protection Act to establish laws to prevent financial encumbrance and rights of enjoying the fruits of their labor for all senior veterans and including all senior citizens.
Veterans Walk in Solidarity is an organization made up of military veterans, military family members, supporters, and friends. Veterans from all branches of service are dedicated to solidarity, and making that walk-in solidarity to bring awareness, and to support, inspire, and offer encouragement for our brothers and sisters who served their country. Together we will come together in solidarity.
